About the Course Instructor


Michel Lautensack, MBA, has over 25 years’ experience in rental real estate. He is the owner and broker of Del Val Realty & Property Management, a large property management company based in Philadelphia, PA. Del Val manages over 1,150 rental units and oversees all aspects of leasing, managing and maintenance of those properties and tenants. He estimates that over the at last 25 years he has signed over 5,000 leases and performed over 1,000 evictions. He is a licensed real estate agent and principal broker.  He is also a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) and holds the prestigious Accredited Residential Manager® (ARM®) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management.  Prior to starting Del Val, Mike worked in the corporate world serving as a turnaround consultant and financial manager in the healthcare industry.
